Reed Connell Durham, Jr. is a historian of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints movement. Durham was born in Long Beach, California. He attended Utah State University in Logan, Utah where he received his undergraduate degree and a Master of Science degree in Speech. In 1965 he received a Ph.D. in history from Brigham Young University. Durham has taught within the Church Educational System since 1955.
